OSCars MC Work

On February 19th, the SGA held the “OSCars” which is a formal award assembly. The winners are chosen out of a group of nominees and voted by the student body. I was one of the two MC’s of the evening, the other was David Gresham. Although I was only meant to help narrorate the evening of awards, that did not stop me from helping out with setting up and organising the event along side the SGA. Some of the extra work I did includes, set up the auditorium, gather the awards from the producer, set up the music, and a variety of smaller tasks. I feel that this experience, relates to the Service aspect of the CAS program.

End of Guitar Tutoring

After a time period of 1 Semester of guitar tutoring, my student and I have decided to stop due to the increase of school projects and work. There is just not enough time in both of our schedules to fulfill our previous practice dates. I am very proud of how much she has learnt in the amount of time I have worked with her. Although, I am saddened we cannot continue. Perhaps in the future we will continue our practice where we have stopped. In conclusion, my guitar tutoring for an my external school CAS work has ended. I believe that my guitar tutoring fulfills the Creativity and Service aspects of the CAS program.
